The soda jerk creates the Franklin Fountain experience for our guests by providing prompt service, quality drinks and desserts all while maintaining a clean and comfortable shop.
The Pastry Assistant assists in the production of all Franklin Fountain products including ice cream bases, ice cream, toppings, soda syrups, baked goods, etc. while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Don’t mind hauling, moving, lifting (at least 50lbs), cleaning, or organizing? The ideal candidate must be confident with interfacing with deliveries, flexible, positive attitude, and willing to perform a multitude of tasks. Responsible for janitorial duties, restocking, receiving and making deliveries, etc.
Assist in the production of confections on authentic turn-of-the-century equipment. At Shane Confectionery, candies continue to be made on-site, with an emphasis on locally-sourced ingredients, seasonal specialties and old-fashioned quality. Duties may include: decorative piping, buttercream production, chocolate dipping, pouring hard candies, and the production and inventory of all house-made chocolates, centers and sugar confections.
The Franklin Fountain is looking to hire a full-time Facilities Manager to oversee basic building and equipment maintenance for our Ice Cream and Confectionery businesses. Valid driver’s license and experience operating a large van or truck required.

A positive minded individual with supervisory/managerial experience to assist our Pastry Chef in overseeing production.
